Shmuel Iny holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University (1984), and was certified as a member of the Bar in 1986.

After his qualification Adv. Iny worked for the law firm of Caspi & Co. for about fifteen years, ten of which as a partner, until the establishment of Iny Litvak Lazar & Co. in 2002.

Adv. Iny’s principal fields of expertise are: real estate, commercial litigation, commercial civil law, arbitrations and administrative law. As part of his work he handles many leading commercial transactions and extensive commercial disputes. Adv. Iny possesses vast and proven experience in providing hands-on guidance and assistance to companies for large-scale projects, including in the sphere of real estate, in Israel and abroad, and he specializes in representing private and public companies in complicated commercial and administrative litigation matters.

For the past three decades, Adv. Iny had served as an external legal consultant for the Israel Diamond Exchange Ltd., and as an arbitrator in business disagreements and disputes. In his capacity as legal consultant of the Diamond Exchange, he is well-versed in all aspects of the Israeli diamond industry, and is an expert in all matters concerning the legal aspect of this leading industry.

In addition, Adv. Iny serves as a consultant to the diamond industry in the field of legislation relevant to that industry, including the Prohibition of Money Laundering Law.

Adv. Iny served as the Legal Counsel of the World Federation of Diamonds boursess (WFDB), which includes all the diamond exchanges worldwide.
